2-8-12

I talked to Leslie today.  I haven't talked to her since December.  She had her third baby, a girl, and I didn't even know her name yet.  In high school and our first year of college I don't think we went a day without talking to each other or hanging out.

I finally took down all our Christmas decorations.  Our front door no longer screams tis' the season.  However, we still have pumpkins hiding behind our front posts.

I've been trying to finish decorating Lucy and Elsa's bedroom for the last 3 1/2 years it seems.  I decided to get rid of the stripes and moulding that never got finished anyways and go with a solid light blue.  Just painting a mere room on my "spare time" about sent me over the anxiety edge.  But, I'm 75% of the way there and hoping to not peter out now.  (Oh and that's just the paint - I still want to decorate.)

I've been doing pretty well with our food budget this month, in part because my family fed us on Monday night, Katie donated her extra leftovers for tonight.  It's easy to not spend money on food when people keep feeding us.

Our sinks and tubs have been slow drainers for a very long time.  We have had a broken pipe under our laundry room sink, also for a very long time.  They are things that have been bugging me forever, but today I spent $5 and Ryan and I both spent a few minutes and now they are all fixed.  Why does it take me so long to get things done?

Leta and Annie have have had snot nose for a long time.  No matter how often I wipe, they are still snot faced kids.  We are trying not to mix with the public until it's cleared.

Oh the realities of life.
