A day with Annie:
- Annie acted like she wanted a drink from my cup but decided to spit in it instead.
- Annie climbed in her crib to keep tabs on it so that I wouldn't put baby Rockwell down for a nap in her spot.
- Annie has to be reminded to swallow. She drools a lot.
- Annie will keep diapers dry but seems to wet every pair of under-roos we try.
- Annie decides if it will be a good or a bad nap time for both her and Leta.
- Annie needed a new spoon because she couldn't possibly use the one she dropped on the floor.
- Annie pushed and hit and pulled Leta's hair while at Costco.
- Annie decided to lay down and refuse to move right in the middle of Costco. (Usually I just leave her and let her throw her temper tantrum, but at Costco, that is like leaving your child to play in a busy road.)
- Annie went to sleep with 2 pairs of pajamas on.
Can you tell someone is a tad stubborn?
But, Annie is also great at walking up to you after she has smacked you in the face and while gently caressing your check, she will say, "Be soft," over and over.
She is also excellent at giving hugs and kisses. And she won't just give one kiss. Lots and lots of them.
For such a stubborn stink with an angry streak, she sure is a cute and mostly sweet, talkative thing. What would I do without this chatterbox constantly following me around?
She's our Annie.

And I love your (and my) Annie! She is a blessing in our lives. Everytime I see her I see my little girls, a combination of Kathryn and Kristen, looking back at me. Oh, so many memories.
So cute. I got the title because we just bought the movie Annie for Christmas and watched it this week. The boys enjoyed it, though I forgot how trampy Miss Hannigan is. Oops.
