Getting Pruney

Last night I was the fun mom. 

We had spent all afternoon playing at grandma and grandpa Papa's.  Then we ate dinner at the park.  But Lucy and Elsa still wondered what fun we were going to have once we got home.

I may have scolded them a tad and told them to be happy with the fun we already had, but then I remembered....

Ryan took Lucy and Elsa on one last backpacking trip last weekend, fitting the trip in before it gets too cold.  While gone, I went to Wally World with Leta and Annie.  I may have wandered off my course a little with my extra freedom and made a few extra purchases (like the jalepeno poppers mentioned yesterday) and these submersible lights.  

They are $5 for a two pack.  They are clearish balls that change light colors when you click the button.  They are located in the floral section, but you may want to test to see if they work first.  One pack had a dud in it.  Yes, I was that lady in the isle who already opened the package (don't worry, these were packaged in a way you could open them, test them, and then put everything back to normal without any visual evidence of the test.)

I saw the idea on Pinterest.  Some have done it with glow-sticks, but these are reusable, made for many a long fun bath times.

I'm pretty sure we are going to get extra pruney now.

Leta just might not know what to do with her hands (she screams a little when she notices they are wrinkly.)
